ABOUT THE PEANUT SHOPPE
The Peanut Shoppe has been operating in Springfield since 1937. First opened as a National Peanut Corporation store, a.k.a. Planters Peanuts. It switched over to private ownership in the 60’s when the Planters Company sold the company stores. It remained in the same family for many decades until the mid 2000’s. Since then, the Peanut Shoppe has been owned by a couple of different families. As of April 20th, 2018, the store is owned by my wife and I, Matt and Amy Luther. Welcome to our store!
We will continue the tradition of fresh roasted peanuts, fine chocolates, and candies. As longtime residents of Springfield, we understand the importance of the Peanut Shoppe and the quality that needs maintained. We look forward to serving your needs for many years to come.
